The accompanying description reads: "A snowshoe hare begins the color phase change from summer brown to winter white. I found this snowshoe hare in mid-October near Denali National Park. It was hiding behind a snow-covered log, feeding on willow branches. In this picture the bunny is munching away on a freshly snapped twig." The photograph is signed, dated, and numbered in the lower right corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson Limited Edition Ilfochrome photographs catalogs, Johnny Johnson's 1991 Alaska Wildlife Calendar, an artist's biography sheet, and Natural History magazine.
