Two signed and numbered photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The first work, "Puffed Up", is dated circa 1992 and numbered 48/950. The accompanying description reads: "Perched above the Bering Sea on the side of a rock cliff, a horned puffin waits for it's mate to return. Horned puffins spend most of their life at sea, coming to land in summer to breed and nest. This puffin was nesting inside a natural crevice on St. Paul Island in the Pribilof Islands." The second work, "Spring Fever", is dated circa 1998 and numbered 12/450. The accompanying description reads: "Tufted puffins are one of two species of puffins found along Alaska's rugged coastline and offshore islands. The tufted puffin is easily distinguished by the long blonde plumes that hang behind the eyes. I found this pair on St. George Island in the Pribilof Islands." Both are signed, dated, and numbered in the lower right corners in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson catalogs and Johnny Johnson's 1996 Alaska Engagement Calendar. The photographs are matted and framed under glass with discoloration visible at the corners; the larger measures approximately 19.75" x 16.5" overall.
