A signed and numbered photograph by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The work, "The Edge of Night", is dated circa 2010 and numbered 124/950. The accompanying description reads: "As 'keepers of the light', Mt. McKinley and her family of lesser peaks reflect the last rays of the setting sun in the pristine waters of Wonder Lake. Located at the end of the Denali National Park road, Wonder Lake at sunset is a magical place. Inky shadows envelope the lowlands, while Denali and her sister peaks take on a shade of melted pearl. The spreading silence is like a drumbeat-broken from time to time by the cry of a loon or the distant call of a wolf." The photograph is signed, dated, and numbered in the lower right corners in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson catalogs, and an artist's biography sheet. The photograph is matted and framed under glass, measuring approximately 19" x 31.5" overall.
