A signed and numbered 11/950 photograph, c.2004, by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025), entitled "Denali - Pearl of the North," with an artwork description leaflet describing the photograph as such: "It is nearly midnight and I've finished photographing. I sit alone and watch. The air is cool and it is very still. The "Great One" sleeps and the silence is like thunder. It explodes across the land as the mountain begins to glow a blend of lavender and pink, like melted pearl. I stare at the sleeping giant's reflection and remember another night -the night of my climb to the summit when six silhouettes began the final push from 18,400'. My reverie ends as the wake of a muskrat cracks the mirror of thought and the cry of a loon breaks the silence." Piece is signed, dated, and numbered in the lower right corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included is 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson Limited Edition Ilfochrome photographs catalog. The artwork is matted and framed under glass, measuring approximately 29" x 33" overall.
