Manufacturer: Nikko / Golden Eagle Type: Rifle Model: 7000 Caliber: .22-250 Remington Barrel Length: 24" Optics: Tasco 39X50SPL 3-9x50 Scope ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4314 S/N: N025952 Ref #: 938133 Notes: A Nikko-made Golden Eagle Model 7000 .22-250 Remington bolt-action rifle with a 24-inch barrel and mounted Tasco 3-9x50 scope. Made in Japan during the Model 7000's late-1970s and early-1980s production era, this rifle combines an unusual multi-lug action with extensive decorative metalwork and a glossy figured stock. The scroll-covered receiver and gold-colored Golden Eagle lettering make it a particularly distinctive example of the period's sporting-rifle styling. The polished blued barrel and receiver are paired with a five-lug locking design and a relatively short 60-degree bolt lift, distinguishing the action from conventional two-lug sporting designs. A sliding safety sits near the rear of the action, and a curved trigger is enclosed by a metal guard. The magazine uses a floorplate arrangement beneath the receiver. The glossy wood stock displays pronounced grain, skip-line checkering, a raised Monte Carlo comb and sculpted cheekpiece. A contrasting black buttpad finishes the stock. The tapered forearm, elevated comb and mounted scope give the rifle a coordinated sporting profile, while the receiver decoration continues around the bolt area. The Tasco 39X50SPL variable-power riflescope provides magnification from 3x to 9x through a 50mm objective and is secured in rings and receiver-mounted bases. No conventional iron sights are fitted. The .22-250 Remington chambering is known for high velocity and a relatively flat trajectory, making it a longstanding varmint and target-shooting cartridge; the rifle's long barrel and variable optic complement that sporting configuration. The stock retains an attractive glossy finish and visible figure, with scattered handling marks and localized finish wear. The blued metal and scope housing have light exterior wear, while the scrollwork and gold-colored lettering remain clearly defined.
