The rifle combines a straightforward sporting configuration with both optical magnification and fore-end support. Its matte black steel receiver and barrel are complemented by textured stock panels and a rubber recoil pad. The Model 783 was introduced in 2013 as an affordable sporting rifle built around a cylindrical receiver, barrel-nut attachment and adjustable CrossFire trigger. This example has a rotating bolt with two opposed locking lugs, a right-side ejection port and a two-position safety near the rear of the receiver. One detachable box magazine accompanies the rifle. The contoured forearm and pistol grip maintain a conventional hunting-rifle shape within the synthetic stock. The mounted Oculus O39X40BDC scope provides a 3x-to-9x magnification range and 40mm objective, with a BDC designation. Black rings and bases secure it to the receiver, and its underside carries identification code 1307-222105-A-0096. A spring-assisted folding bipod is attached beneath the forearm, providing a support option for stationary shooting. No iron sights are installed. The .30-06 Springfield has a long-established role in medium- and large-game hunting, with a broad selection of sporting bullet weights. That versatility complements the Model 783's practical bolt-action configuration, detachable magazine and variable optic. The barrel, receiver and stock retain a generally uniform appearance with scattered handling marks. The scope housing has exterior scuffs, and a broad cloudy, spotted deposit is visible on the eyepiece lens.
