The long barrel has a front bead and a protruding knurled choke fitting at the muzzle. Its plain black receiver and uncomplicated wooden furniture give the shotgun the utilitarian appearance associated with Stevens sporting arms. The Model 67 belongs to the economical Savage/Stevens pump-shotgun family introduced during the 1960s, with the Series E designation identifying a later variation. These shotguns combined traditional sporting dimensions with straightforward manufacture, forming part of Stevens' longstanding emphasis on accessible working firearms. The ribbed forearm operates the pump action, with a tubular magazine beneath the barrel and a right-side ejection port in the receiver. A tang-mounted safety is positioned behind the action. The buttstock has a pistol grip and ventilated recoil pad, while the long barrel and raised rib provide a clear sighting plane typical of a field or clay-target shotgun. The wood has numerous scratches, dents and areas of finish loss. The metal shows thinning finish, discoloration and scattered oxidation, with additional scratched markings on the receiver. The recoil pad is worn.
