Manufacturer: P.O.F USA Type: Rifle Model: P-308 Caliber: 6.5CM Barrel Length: 22" Optics: Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO) ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4226 S/N: BA-1700807 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Patriot Ordnance Factory P-308 semi-automatic rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, with a 22-inch barrel and a substantial complement of sighting and support equipment. This example combines POF-USA’s large-frame AR-pattern platform with an extended free-floating handguard, an adjustable precision-style buttstock and a Caldwell folding bipod. Its long-barreled configuration reflects the P-308 family’s precision-oriented design, while the mounted Aimpoint PRO red-dot sight, folding backup sights and vertical foregrip give this particular rifle a distinctive equipment package. Matte black upper and lower receivers are paired with a black steel barrel and a ventilated aluminum handguard extending nearly to the muzzle. The free-floating fore-end surrounds the barrel without bearing against it, providing a mounting surface for accessories while keeping their attachment separate from the barrel. A continuous Picatinny top rail and additional mounting provisions along the sides and underside accommodate the fitted sights, bipod and foregrip. A multi-port muzzle brake completes the barrel assembly. An adjustable POF-USA-branded precision-style buttstock has a raised cheekpiece and broad rubber recoil pad. A textured Mission First Tactical Engage V2 pistol grip, marked EPG16V2, complements the stock. The receiver retains the familiar AR-style arrangement of safety selector, bolt catch, magazine release and charging handle, together with a curved trigger. Phoenix, Arizona markings identify the maker, and an American flag with “GOD BLESS AMERICA” lettering decorates the ejection-port cover. The Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO), serial K4276452, is a nonmagnifying 1x red-dot sight with a 2 MOA aiming dot, adjustable brightness and protective flip-up lens covers. Its enclosed tubular housing sits on a raised receiver-rail mount, with folding front and rear iron sights supplying a separate sighting system. The Caldwell bipod provides folding support beneath the fore-end. An adjustable black carrying sling and one detachable box magazine are also included. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering complements the rifle’s long-barreled, supported-shooting configuration. Developed for precision target competition, the cartridge accommodates long, streamlined 6.5mm bullets within short-action magazine dimensions. Its efficient bullet profiles are designed to retain velocity and resist wind drift at distance, while comparatively manageable recoil has contributed to its popularity in match shooting and sporting rifles. Here, that chambering is paired with the P-308’s gas-operated semi-automatic action and modular stock, handguard and accessory arrangement. The rifle presents well, with a generally uniform black finish and light handling marks on the receiver, furniture and accessories. Minor edge wear is visible along the handguard.
