The horizontally paired barrels, double triggers and brown wooden buttstock retain the classic double-gun sporting form. The wooden fore-end and its associated assembly are missing, leaving the shotgun incomplete and the attachment surfaces beneath the barrels exposed. Made in Brazil by E.R. Amantino and imported through Stoeger, the IGA Uplander was offered as an economical sporting double. Its boxlock action and conventional wood furniture reflect a longstanding field-shotgun pattern, with the Uplander name continuing in Stoeger's later sporting line. Gaucha-IGA and Made in Brazil markings appear on this example. The blued receiver has a top opening lever and two triggers for the paired barrels. An extractor is fitted at the breech, and a raised rib with a front bead runs between the barrels. The buttstock has a pistol-grip wrist, gently contoured comb and grooved buttplate. The 28-inch barrel assembly provides the extended sighting plane associated with a traditional field double. The missing fore-end is a significant completeness issue; no replacement assembly is included. The buttstock has scratches, dents and thinning finish. The receiver, barrels and hinge area show finish wear, discoloration and localized oxidation, with additional wear around the exposed fore-end attachment surfaces.
