Manufacturer: Iver Johnson Type: Shotgun Model: Triumph Caliber: 20 GA Barrel Length: 30" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4207 S/N: 37359XF Ref #: N/A Notes: An Iver Johnson Triumph 20-gauge single-shot shotgun with a 30-inch plain barrel and an exposed-hammer break action. Brown wooden stock and forearm furniture are paired with a steel receiver and barrel, with checkering at the pistol-grip wrist and a black grooved buttplate. TRIUMPH is stamped on the receiver, and serial 37359XF appears on the tang. The single-barrel design has a top-mounted opening lever, curved trigger and hinged breech, retaining the uncomplicated arrangement associated with traditional single-shot sporting shotguns. Its long barrel and front bead provide an extended sighting plane. The contoured wooden buttstock and slender forearm maintain the conventional field-shotgun form. The 20-gauge chambering belongs to a longstanding upland and small-game sporting category, while the 30-inch barrel gives this example longer proportions than many compact single shots. The stock and forearm have substantial finish loss, scratches, dents and darkened areas. Pronounced oxidation, patina and corrosion cover the receiver and barrel, with extensive deterioration of the original metal finish.
