Black aluminum receivers are paired with a quad-rail handguard, angled foregrip and adjustable shoulder stock. The lower receiver bears Bushmaster markings from Ilion, New York, while the barrel is marked 5.56 NATO. The XM15-E2S belongs to Bushmaster's established AR-pattern rifle family, combining a gas-operated action with modular furniture and a detachable-magazine arrangement. Its black synthetic stock has an adjustable length and rubber buttpad, and the textured pistol grip has a fuller contoured shape than a plain service-style grip. The quad rail supplies accessory mounting surfaces around the forearm. An A2-style fixed front sight is paired with the adjustable rear aperture in the detachable carry handle. The rifle also has a forward assist, ejection-port cover, rear charging handle, bolt catch, selector and magazine release. A slotted muzzle device is fitted to the barrel. The rail-mounted iPROTEC unit combines a light housing with a laser sight, alongside the separate iron-sight system. An angled foregrip and black sling accompany the rifle. No magazine is included. The exposed barrel has substantial finish discoloration and surface oxidation, with handling wear on the receivers, handguard, stock and accessory housing.
