Manufacturer: Ruger Type: Pistol Model: P90 Caliber: .45 A.C.P. Barrel Length: 4.5" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4283 S/N: 663-56822 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Ruger P90 .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol with a 4.5-inch barrel, stainless slide and aluminum-alloy frame. This example wears wraparound rubber finger-groove grips and comes with a hard carrying case and one magazine. The substantial slide and broad grip reflect the P90’s position as the .45-caliber member of Ruger’s full-size P-series pistol family. This example dates to circa 2004. The P90 uses a recoil-operated, locked-breech action with an exposed hammer and double-action/single-action trigger. Slide-mounted safety/decocking levers are accessible from both sides, and the iron sights remain fitted to the slide. The contrasting stainless upper and darker alloy frame bring out the pistol’s angular receiver and slide contours. The rubber grip wraps around the frontstrap, providing molded finger grooves and textured side panels. Ruger P90 lettering identifies the slide, while the frame carries Sturm, Ruger & Co. and Southport, Connecticut markings. The .45 Auto barrel marking is visible through the ejection port. Ruger produced the P90 from 1991 to 2010, during the period when its P-series established a substantial presence among American service-size semi-automatic pistols. The model paired the established .45 ACP cartridge with an alloy-frame, double-action design, offering a distinct alternative to the traditional single-action .45 pistol format. The P90 family used single-column .45 ACP magazines in seven- and eight-round forms; one magazine accompanies this example in its hard case. The slide shows dark discoloration and finish wear, with lighter handling marks on the frame and grips. The grip contours and identifying markings remain well defined.
