Manufacturer: Russian Type: Rifle Model: M91/30 Caliber: 7.62x54mmR Barrel Length: 28.75" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4240 S/N: RMN0133068 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Russian Mosin-Nagant M91/30 bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62×54R, with a 28.75-inch barrel and a socket spike bayonet. The long military stock, extended handguard and straight bolt handle retain the distinctive silhouette of the M91/30 infantry rifle, with warm reddish-brown wood contrasting against dark steel fittings. The rifle has a fixed magazine beneath the action, a graduated tangent rear sight and a hooded front sight. Two barrel bands secure the forward wood, and a cleaning rod runs below the barrel. Stock sling slots and a steel buttplate complete the military furniture. The socket spike bayonet accompanies the rifle. The receiver bears PW Arms, Redmond, Washington import markings, together with M91/30, 7.62×54R, Russia and serial RMN0133068. The barrel carries the Izhevsk arsenal’s arrow-in-triangle mark. The M91/30 is the Soviet-era development of the Mosin-Nagant system first adopted in 1891. Its long barrel, full military wood and five-round fixed-magazine design reflect the infantry-rifle tradition of the first half of the twentieth century. The bayonet and cleaning rod retain two characteristic elements of that military configuration. The stock has handling dents and scratches, while the metal shows finish wear and patina. The rifle retains a complete long-stocked appearance, with the bolt, sights and associated bayonet present.
