Manufacturer: Rock Island Armory Type: Pistol Model: M1911 A2 6-Inch Match Tact Caliber: 10mm Barrel Length: 6" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4413 S/N: RIA2114976 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 6-inch Match Tact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 10mm Auto. The extended slide and barrel, wide grip frame and full-length accessory rail give this example a substantial target-oriented configuration. It has an LPA adjustable rear sight and a red fiber-optic front sight; no magazine is included. The black-finished slide carries front and rear grasping serrations, with the bright barrel hood exposed through the ejection port and marked CAL. 10MM. The frame is marked M1911 A2 6-inch MATCH TACT. Armscor, Philippines and Rock Island Armory markings establish the manufacturer and brand. A skeletonized hammer and trigger, extended beavertail grip safety and thumb safety retain the familiar single-action 1911 arrangement. The grip panels combine diagonal grooves with textured areas, and a flared magazine-well opening broadens the lower grip. The railed dust cover extends along the underside of the long forward assembly. The six-inch slide provides increased distance between the front and rear sights, while the LPA rear unit allows sight adjustment and the red front element supplies a contrasting reference. The A2 wide-frame configuration and long-slide treatment distinguish this pistol from a conventional single-stack, five-inch 1911, bringing the traditional platform into a more specialized 10mm format. The pistol shows light handling and edge wear, with some marks on the slide and controls. The sight components and grip texture remain clearly defined.
