Manufacturer: Russian Type: Rifle Model: M91/30 Caliber: 7.62x54R Barrel Length: 28.75" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4239 S/N: RMN0133739 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Russian Mosin-Nagant M91/30 bolt-action rifle in 7.62×54R, with a 28.75-inch barrel and a separate socket spike bayonet. The long reddish-brown stock and handguard, straight bolt handle and dark steel fittings retain the full military profile associated with this Soviet infantry-rifle pattern. A graduated tangent rear sight and hooded front sight provide the iron-sight arrangement. Two bands secure the forward wood, with a cleaning rod carried beneath the barrel. The buttstock has sling slots and a steel buttplate, while the fixed magazine projects modestly below the receiver. PW Arms, Redmond, Washington import markings appear with the Russian origin designation and serial RMN0133739. The included bayonet retains its socket and locking collar, and the rifle has its bolt fitted. The barrel carries the Izhevsk arsenal’s arrow-in-triangle mark. The M91/30 continued the Mosin-Nagant system established in the late nineteenth century, adapting it for Soviet military service. Its five-round fixed magazine, full-length wood and long sighting plane reflect the infantry-rifle design conventions of its era. The accompanying bayonet and retained cleaning rod reinforce that military configuration. The wood shows handling dents, scratches and areas of flaking finish. The metal and bayonet have finish wear and patina, while the stock retains its rich reddish-brown color across the larger surfaces.
