The compact C9 form remains recognizable, with its tall slide, textured grip and fixed-barrel blowback design. This example has substantial damage at the front of the slide. The striker-fired pistol has a manual safety on the left side, rear slide serrations and iron sights. Hi-Point Firearms, Model C9 and 9mm Luger markings identify the slide, with a 9mm marking visible through the ejection port. The polymer grip housing contrasts with the comparatively heavy metal upper assembly characteristic of the C9’s operating design. The C9 represents Hi-Point’s economical American-made 9mm platform, using a straightforward blowback mechanism rather than a locked-breech action. The slide’s muzzle edges are deeply chipped and gouged, with visible fractures along the lower front face and substantial metal loss at the front-sight base.
