Manufacturer: Mossberg Type: Receiver Model: 500C Caliber: 20 GA Barrel Length: N/A Optics: None ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4251 S/N: T243838 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Mossberg 500C 20-gauge receiver with its attached magazine tube, serial T243838. The black-finished receiver has a side ejection opening, rounded upper profile and tang-mounted safety slider. The barrel, buttstock, fore-end and trigger group are absent, leaving an incomplete receiver assembly. Mossberg, Made in U.S.A., North Haven, Connecticut, 500C and 20 GA markings appear on the underside. The 500C designation identifies the 20-gauge branch of Mossberg’s long-running Model 500 pump-shotgun family. The tang safety location is one of the recognizable exterior features of that design. The barrel socket and lower receiver opening are exposed, and the magazine tube extends forward from the receiver. The dark finish is generally even, with handling scratches and wear around the openings and attachment areas.
