Manufacturer: Mossberg Type: Receiver Model: 500C Caliber: 20 GA Barrel Length: N/A Optics: None ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4250 S/N: K583050 Ref #: N/A Notes: A Mossberg 500C 20-gauge receiver and attached magazine tube, serial K583050. The assembly retains its black finish, side ejection opening and tang-mounted safety slider. No barrel, buttstock, fore-end or trigger group accompanies the receiver. The underside is marked Mossberg, Made in U.S.A., North Haven, Connecticut, 500C and 20 GA. This identifies the receiver as part of Mossberg’s 20-gauge Model 500 family. Its rounded top and rear tang control preserve the characteristic exterior layout of that pump-shotgun design. The open barrel socket, lower receiver opening and rear attachment point show the assembly’s incomplete configuration. The receiver sides retain a reflective dark finish, with scratches and edge wear; the exposed rear surface and tube show additional handling marks.
