Silver-colored barrel and receiver surfaces contrast with the synthetic fore-end and pistol grip. This example has an incomplete shoulder-stock assembly: the rear shoulder section is absent, leaving the pistol grip and short rear housing attached to the rifle. The Ram-Line name and Ruger 10/22 application marking are molded into the rear stock housing. Its ribbed fore-end extends forward to the barrel band, while the separate pistol grip has molded gripping grooves. A ramp-mounted front sight and folding open rear sight remain fitted, retaining an iron-sight arrangement along the barrel. Introduced in 1964, the 10/22 is a long-established Ruger rimfire design built around a semi-automatic action and detachable rotary magazine. The rotary system places the cartridges around an internal rotor within a compact magazine body, a defining feature of the platform. No magazine accompanies this rifle. The synthetic stock assembly shows use wear and accumulated residue. Oxidation and discoloration are visible on the exposed metal.
