Manufacturer: Ruger Type: Rifle Model: 10/22 Caliber: .22 LR Barrel Length: 18.5" Optics: Vortex Diamondback 2–7×35 riflescope ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4300 S/N: RCS2-00563 Ref #: 1444762 Notes: A Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic rifle in .22 Long Rifle, with an 18.5-inch barrel, gray synthetic stock and a mounted Vortex Diamondback 2–7×35 riflescope. This example pairs Ruger’s established rimfire action with a sporting stock and variable-power optic, retaining its barrel-mounted iron sights beneath the scope. The gray stock has textured panels at the fore-end and grip, a raised comb profile, sling-swivel studs and a black Ruger-marked recoil pad. An extended magazine-release lever projects beneath the action. A ramped front sight and folding open rear sight remain fitted in addition to the scope, and the receiver serial is RCS2-00563. The Diamondback is secured in two rings on a receiver-mounted rail. Its 2–7× magnification range provides both a broader low-power view and a more enlarged target image, with a 35mm objective lens and one-inch main tube. The Vortex and Diamondback markings, together with the 2–7×35 designation around the objective, identify the installed scope. The 10/22 family dates to 1964 and is distinguished by its detachable rotary-magazine system. That compact feed arrangement is a central part of the design’s sporting-rimfire character; no magazine accompanies this rifle. The barrel has extensive rust and finish loss, particularly along its exposed upper surface and around the front sight. Oxidation is also present on the scope-mount hardware. The stock and scope housing have ordinary exterior wear.
