Manufacturer: Winchester Type: Shotgun Model: 1300 Caliber: 12 GA Barrel Length: 18.25" Optics: Front bead sight ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 4312 S/N: L3640235 Ref #: 927069 Notes: A Winchester Model 1300 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with an 18.25-inch barrel and an “ALASKA BEARGUN” inscription beside a bear illustration on the left receiver. This individual marking is the principal visual distinction of the shotgun, complementing its short plain barrel, tubular magazine and black synthetic furniture. The Model 1300 uses a rotary bolt whose locking lugs engage the barrel extension. Winchester described the design as its Speed Pump, with recoil-assisted initial unlocking as a characteristic of the action. The compact configuration here retains the model’s conventional sliding fore-end, shoulder stock and front bead sight. A deeply ribbed fore-end provides a textured forward grip, while the buttstock has molded checkering around the pistol grip and a black ventilated recoil pad. Winchester and Model 1300 markings identify the shotgun, with the Alaska Beargun lettering and bear illustration adding the individual Alaska-themed detail. There is substantial rust and finish loss on the barrel and magazine assembly. The receiver illustration and lettering remain visible, with wear to the graphics and stock surfaces.
