A piece of baleen frond with a scrimshawed scene of a fishermen pulling in his net to collect some fish. It is signed and dated by the artist, Vernon Long, circa 2010, in the Inupiat village of Nuiqsut, Alaska. Measures approximately 14.25" x 8" overall excluding the fringe.
