#27 • 1967 Error Fur Rondy Pin

Part of March 2023 Premier Auction (live auction by Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals)

High bid $70.00

Status: Sold

Category: Alaskana

An extremely rare error pin, this pin struck to commemorate the 1967 Fur Rendezvous Festival in downtown Anchorage, AK, has a dramatically off-set stamp and should have never made it to circulation. We have never encountered another error pin from this era, and this is quite possibly the only 1967 error pin in existence. It is accompanied by another 1967 pin with no error for comparison, both pins are included in this sale.
