An Iñupiaq Eskimo walrus tusk cribbage board with scrimshaw designs of arctic animals to include a walrus, polar bear, and seals, all surrounded by naturalistic borders. While unsigned, the style of work is indicative of King Island origins circa 1960-1970. Measures approximately 13.75" x 1.5" x 1". The tusk has a small blemish to the front as photographed. The internal peg storage compartment is devoid of pegs.
