A scarce 19th century pewter encased hexagonal Yixing Chinese teapot with celadon jade handle, spout, and lid knob. One side of the pot contains naturalistic motifs of bamboo, the other incised with calligraphy. Exhibits age-related wear as photographed, structurally sound. The interior of the pot with seal mark. Measures approximately 4" tall and 4" wide.
