An antique Waltham special grade pocket watch housed in a CWC heavy gold-filled hunters case with personalized inscription circa 1901. Watch serial number is 8792648, model 1891, with an estimated production year of 1898 and a mixed run of both 7 and 15 jewels. Additional case markings read PAT D.DEC 7.86 and either 1265 or 1266. Item was deemed functional at time of cataloging and measures approximately 1.5" x 2" tall.  Note: As with any mechanical clocks or timepieces, functionality is not guaranteed due to their sensitive nature, nor has testing been conducted for functionality or accuracy for more than a few minutes of observation.
