An ornate gilt metal mantel clock designed by the master French sculptor Phillipe H. Mourey (1840-1910) with winding keys, possibly circa 1863. Item was tested briefly for functionality at time of cataloging and began working properly at that time. Measures approximately 12" x 5" x 11.5" tall. Note: As with any mechanical clocks or timepieces, functionality is not guaranteed due to their sensitive nature, nor has testing been conducted for functionality or accuracy for more than a few minutes of observation.
