A fox squirrel (Sciurus niger) taxidermy mount posed upright with a nut held between its forepaws. Its mottled brown-gray coat, warm tan underside and large bushy tail are presented on a rough, bark-covered natural wood base. The tail curves upward behind the animal, balancing the forward-reaching pose. The base retains its irregular edges and natural surface losses. Overall dimensions are approximately 7 inches wide by 10 inches deep by 11 inches high.
