Welcome to the November 2026 Discovery Auction hosted by Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals! Bid Online Now at: https://bid.alaskapremierauctions.com/ui/auctions/170457 Our November Discovery Auction brings together over 600 lots, from Alaska Native carvings and signed artwork to knives, outdoor gear, jewelry-making supplies, tools, household goods, taxidermy, and more! Alaska Native and Alaska-related art includes walrus ivory carvings and scrimshaw, baleen and grass baskets, masks, dolls and stone carvings. Look for works by D. Noel Smith, Michael E. Scott, Isaac Saccheus, Jason Iya and Dwight Milligrock, along with a walrus tusk cribbage board attributed to Arnie Iyakitan. An Athabascan willow root basket, a Stella Sam birchbark basket and a Chevak gut doll depicting net mending, likely by the Paniyak family, add to the selection. Framed artwork offers a mix of Alaska subjects, wildlife, landscapes and contemporary designs. Fred Machetanz’s “Mushing” stone lithograph appears alongside signed Rie Muñoz prints, Anthony Quinn’s “A Glance in the Mirror” and “The Prophet,” Aldo Luongo’s “High Flyer,” and Nathan Jackson’s “Eagle.” Other pieces include a Ninilchik ink and watercolor by R.W. “Toby” Tyler, Byron Birdsall prints, a Keith Appel painted metal diptych and a guitarist relief by Kennith Humphrey. Taxidermy and natural-history material include American bison, greater kudu, sable antelope, nyala, porcupine and squirrel mounts, plus skulls, horns, hides and pelts. Mammoth tusk sections, glass fishing floats and shells are also represented. For furnishings and decor, browse three water buffalo horn chairs, a Stomps-Burkhardt tiger oak lion-head armchair and a circa-1953 Coca-Cola button sign. Knives are a substantial part of this sale, with Benchmade, Microtech, Kershaw, Buck and Denali Tactical examples, plus ulus, multi-tools and mixed groups. Outdoor selections include fishing rods and reels, packs, snowshoes, hunting apparel and camping supplies. Hand tools and a Nikon D5500 camera outfit with two lenses and a Pelican case round out this part of the catalog. Jewelry, watches and hobby supplies offer plenty of smaller lots to consider. Browse sterling silver and ivory jewelry, wristwatches, pocket watches, coins and Alaska festival collectibles. An extensive assortment of beads, pearls, chains, findings and organizers will interest jewelry makers, while watchmaker’s cabinets, replacement crystals and watch parts provide options for repair and collecting projects. There’s also a mix of familiar household items and vintage collectibles: LEGO, a G.I. Joe Vietnam pilot figure, LaserDisc movies, smoking pipes, model ships, musical instruments, sewing machines, lamps and tableware. From craft supplies and camping gear to framed art and collectibles, the catalog covers a broad range of interests and budgets. Every lot starts at just $5, and all items will sell to the highest bidder.
