A pair of Yup’ik women's dance fans with circular coiled-grass centers and woven loop handles. Pale pink and purple-brown dyed elements form concentric and spiral accents within the tightly worked coils. Long, pale gray-brown fur surrounds each center; the fur appears to be Arctic fox. Light wear is noted to the leather where the fur joins the grass. Each fan measures approximately 5 inches wide by 0.25 inch deep by 7 inches high.
