A pair of Yup’ik women's dance fans with coiled grass frames decorated in purple-brown and orange. Small faces with dark eyes and mouths sit against black textile centers, each framed by a pale fur ruff. Longer brown-gray fur surrounds the outer rings, and woven loops extend above them. The repeated circular forms and contrasting textures make an expressive matched display. Each fan measures approximately 14 inches overall including the fur; the central grass ring is approximately 6.5 inches across.
