Two carved walrus ivory bird pins by Rita Mayac, each signed on the reverse. The upright bald eagle is detailed with dark incised feather lines, a pale head and yellow beak and feet. The swimming loon has a dark head and bill, a small orange-red eye and a contrasting geometric pattern across its wings and back. Both pins have metal pinback fittings. Light surface wear and discoloration are visible on the backs and fittings. The bald eagle measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1.5 inches high.
