A stone walrus by Michael E. Scott resting on an integral, softly contoured stone platform above a shaped wooden base. Fine curved incisions suggest folds and wrinkles across the body, while two dark tusks contrast with the pale cream and pinkish stone. The tusks appear to be baleen. The carving is inscribed ‘M. Scott1991’. Felt covers the underside of the wooden base. Overall dimensions are approximately 7.5 inches long by 4 inches wide by 4.5 inches high.
