Two miniature carved walrus ivory masks present contrasting faces and fur surrounds. The pale mask signed ‘Aahaqaq’ has softly modeled features, an open mouth and a white fur ruff, and is raised on a slender support above an organic-material base, likely bone or antler. The mask signed ‘Willie Wilson’ has more angular features, contrasting eye accents and a darker fur ruff; cream and gray patterning follows the ivory around the face. Small splits are visible in the underside of the Aahaqaq mask's base. The largest mask measures approximately 4 inches high including fur; its recorded depth is approximately 1.5 inches. Excluding fur, the mask faces were recorded at approximately 1.5 by 1.5 inches and 1.5 by 2.25 inches.
