Two miniature walrus ivory sea otters carved in swimming poses, with small paws held against their bodies, deeply incised fur and dark eyes and noses. The ivory ranges from cream to honey-colored tones. Neither has a visible artist's signature. The carvings show light surface marks, small irregularities and discoloration in the incised details. Each measures approximately 1.5 inches long.
