A brown beaver fur coat with a broad shawl collar, vertically arranged pelts, deep side pockets and banded cuffs. The fur has darker guard hairs over lighter brown tones, and the interior is finished with a pale gray fabric lining. The coat shows flattened or uneven fur in places and wrinkling and light discoloration to the lining. Recorded flat measurements are approximately 24 inches across the shoulders, 25 inches across the chest, 24-inch sleeves and 36 inches in total length.
