A Dragon Brand bamboo fishing-rod outfit in a fitted wooden box, comprising a cork-handled rod assembly and seven loose sections of differing lengths and thicknesses. The sections have metal ferrules and thread-wrapped line guides. A rod decal reads Made in Japan, and the box retains a worn Dragon Brand fishing-kit label. The cork grip is darkened and worn, with losses and indentations. Rod finish and wraps show wear, and some sections appear bowed. The wooden box has scratches, discoloration, interior wear and a torn label. The box measures approximately 34 inches long by 2.5 inches wide by 3 inches high.
