Two Shishmaref-style dolls with carved antler bodies, painted faces, fur trousers and removable hooded fur parkas. The gray-and-black-clad doll is signed Fanny Kuzuguk on its back; the brown-clad doll is signed Elliot Olanna. Their clothing includes small mittens and fur or hide boots, with the carved bodies visible when the parkas are removed. Condition includes worn painted details, discoloration to the carved bodies, matted or thinning fur and wear to the boot coverings. The brown doll's boot coverings show particularly conspicuous splitting and exposed pale material. The larger doll measures approximately 6.5 inches high by 2.5 inches wide when upright.
