Two carved sculptures. A wooden kayak by Glenn Tootkaylok carries a parka-clad figure with a carved stone face, ruff and remaining hand, together with a stone seal, float form, cord and a side-mounted harpoon model. The underside is signed Glenn Tootkaylok, Nome, Alaska, '99 and bears a Silver Hand label. The second piece is a small stone dancer on a rectangular base, with a walrus ivory face and feather accents; its underside is incised TIM and it is attributed to Tim Henry. The kayak figure is missing one arm/hand component, and the remaining wooden arm shows a break and apparent repair near the shoulder. Wood and stone have chips, scratches and rubbed areas. The dancer has surface wear and frayed feathers, with small edge losses to its base. The kayak measures approximately 16.25 inches long by 1.75 inches wide by 3.75 inches high.
