Two freestanding face sculptures signed Glenn Tootkaylok, Nome, Alaska. Each combines a polished gray-green soapstone half, with a warm brown wood half, framed by a beaver-fur ruff and set on a rough-edged stone base. Pierced eyes and incised mouths continue across the contrasting materials. The larger sculpture is dated 2016 on the reverse. The fur is uneven and flattened in places. Stone bases and undersides show scratches, scuffs and small edge irregularities. The larger piece measures approximately 3 by 3.5 by 7 inches high.
