Two small framed oil paintings. The lake landscape is signed Garth at lower right and depicts sunlight reflected between dark tree-lined banks. The second shows a horse-drawn carriage, pedestrians and street buildings leading toward a church tower, in a Philippine street scene. Both have ornate gold- or bronze-colored frames with surface wear and small edge marks. The Garth frame includes a pale fabric-textured liner; its reverse is marked Made in Taiwan. The Garth work measures approximately 12 inches wide by 10 inches high overall, including its frame.
