A curved walrus ivory tusk segment with a cut broad end, cream and tan interior and dark weathered exterior. Longitudinal grain and the mottled internal structure are visible at the exposed end. Measures approximately 14.5 x 2.5 x 1.25 inches thick; recorded weight is 936 grams. There are deep lengthwise cracks, separating surface layers, chips and missing material, especially near the broad end.
