Two decorative model sleds built around animal jawbones, possibly caribou. The larger has red-and-black painted surfaces, leather and cord rigging, small metal fittings, bundled cargo and an animal-shaped ornament near the front. The smaller combines natural bone, leather ties, colored cord, wood and brown fur. The larger sled measures approximately 16.5 x 7 x 10 inches high. Both show age and handling wear, including chipped paint, worn or frayed ties, soiling and weathered surfaces. Partial lettering is visible beneath the larger sled.
