Six vintage electric irons, including compact travel models and larger steam irons: Universal EA1630 with case and leaflet; black-handled Durabilt Companion; a folding wood-handled Durabilt by Winsted Hardware; Norelco Spray; GE Variable Power Spray; and Sears Permanent Press. The Universal and black-handled Durabilt powered on at cataloging. The Norelco did not power on. The wood-handled Durabilt has no cord. Staff deliberately did not test the GE or Sears because their plugs were rusty or suspect. The GE measures approximately 9 x 3 x 7 inches. The irons have scratches, corrosion, residue, worn finishes and aged cords. The rusty-plug units require qualified inspection before use.
